This is a plumeria with a most interesting and unique coloration. The sweetly fragrant, 4” blooms, seem to change color as they mature. Opening with a deep pink on an almost silvery gray background, flowers fade to include gold and golden brown hues.
Plumeria “Shawnee”
Nui's variety. Amazing 3"+ flower opening from dark purple buds. Shawnee has heavily overlapping round petals having a pronounced sculptural forward curl of the lead edge. Its highly unusual color pallet of a plum purple band fading into a light blush purple petal centered with a unique shade of yellow and distinct purple blotchy markings out toward the tip are reasons for its desirable and rare blooms.
