A Beautiful Nui's variety. Opening from garnet colored buds, this 2"-3" flower has petals whose edges both curl inward. The lead edge has a small forward curl and is a soft lilac purple while the back edge has an unusual forward curl larger than the lead edge and shows the darker garnet banding from its underside. The flowers are centered with a beautiful glowing orange/red and as the flower matures and flattens, its petals soften to a lavender gray tone kissed with ruby pink tones. Nui's variety. Amazing 3"+ flower opening from dark purple buds. Shawnee has heavily overlapping round petals having a pronounced sculptural forward curl of the lead edge. Its highly unusual color pallet of a plum purple band fading into a light blush purple petal centered with a unique shade of yellow and distinct purple blotchy markings out toward the tip are reasons for its desirable and rare blooms.
